The Statewide Truck Lanes Needs Identification Study relates to several other transportation planning initiatives that have statewide and regional significance. Some of them are being conducted by GDOT, while others are being conducted by GDOT’s planning partners. The primary sponsoring agency for each effort is noted in parentheses.
The Statewide Truck Lanes Needs Identification Study will produce valuable information and data which should be considered and/or incorporated into several of these major transportation initiatives. The following figure illustrates the relationship of this study to other elements of the statewide and regional transportation planning processes.
